Every Noise

Every Noise At Once

There are various genres of music popular across the world and hence, you have all kinds of music lovers. What if there is a tool that can give you the music of all kinds of genres in one place? This incredible feat is what Every Noise At Once has achieved. There is an algorithmically generated scatter plot which is almost endless and seems exhaustive. When you move the cursor on an option, it will show you a sample of an artist and a song that represents that genre of music. Click on it and you get to hear it as well. Also, there is a small double arrow near the genre name, which if clicked will take you to a page which has the names of all artists in that genre.

The screen is attractive because the music genres are mentioned in multiple colors and scattered all across. If you know some artist and would like to search for the name, just type the name in the search box at the top of the screen. It will give the music genre for which that artist is known. There is also a Spotify Playlist link that allows you to listen to all songs for free.

A treat for music lovers and anyone curious, ready to listen to something new!

Every Noise

This is an ongoing attempt at an algorithmically generated, readability-adjusted scatter-plot of the musical genre-space, based on data tracked and analyzed for 1537 genres by Spotify. The calibration is fuzzy, but in general down is more organic, up is more mechanical and electric; left is denser and more atmospheric, right is spikier and bouncier.
